Changing from html to xhtml problems

maybe someone could look at the code and tell me what I need to alter, as I've been around this issue many times, no results. Several of my pages now have this short sheet problem when browser window is stretched to a larger screen size...My screens are 2 x 17"...

Also, a related issue to my changing all my pages to XHTML is now on all browsers except Safari my index page and a few others have the text CENTERED instead of LEFT justify as before when my pages were html. Also have a RIGHT justify text problem on 90% of my pages in OPERA browser.

Would appreciate fixes on these.

I've been to http://www.apptools.com/examples/tableheight.php and tried to apply the height fix but no joy.

OK after much grief and many pages...finally fixed this thing by removing all <div align=center"> which I don't know how they got there, also had to align left a few tables which were aligned right, don't know how that happened either since all this worked in html but going to xhtml, well did it somehow change these tables to align right, when they were align left before???

Now only problem I have is the short page problem on window enlargement only on Firefox and Netscape latest for mac.

Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?
