How do i add a discussion board to a website?

I was wondering how i would add a discussion board to a website so my friends could post stuff. Does anyone know the HTML code or know somewhere where i could get the code??

2. A discussion board requires more then html, they require a server-side language and commonly, access to a sql database.

First, you should read the Sticky in this forum: The Forum Software Guide, at the top of the page. Then you need to decide which forum software you want to use, perhaps starting with what OS and server software your web host uses. Then you'll need to make sure that you have the required software installed on the server, such as a MySQL db, etc. You'll then need to purchase/download the forum software, and upload it to your site. Then comes configuration of the software, testing, etc.

That's the long and short of it--you've got some decisions to make before you can begin.
