Please help write html script to template page

I am not a web designer. I have used a template to lay out a very simple web site for my small company. People are stealing and using my pictures in their advertisements as their own. I want to add a script to my pics that will not let them copy from the site. Please Help?

I'm afraid you can't stop them with scripting. You'd be better off putting a watermark on your images. That's much harder to get around than any scripting solution, which wouldn't deter anyone for more than a second or 2.

Javascript won't help. There are several ways of getting around it.
You'll need to watermark your images instead.

I'm afraid you can't stop them with scripting.That's assuming they are saving thier images, if they are hotlinking them then it can be achived with .htaccess (http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess10.shtml).

You can also put up a disclaimer and hope that whoever steals your pics make a lot of money off their use so you can sue. Also if you do something as simple as disable the right mouse click it will stop a few who are not internet savy

Also if you do something as simple as disable the right mouse click it will... Stop only the few who are so incompetent to not get around it. Irritate everyone who wants to use thier browser features legitimately. Make your content all the more tempting.
