Need to restart PC to print jobs

Hi

I've got a HP LaserJet 4V connected to a PC running Windows XP. The problem is that when I send to print, let's say, 4 or 5 documents it prints them out, but after that if I send jobs for print, the printer stops printing. I can see the jobs in the queue, but I have to restart the PC before they get printed out.

I have the latest drivers (from HP's website) installed.

The same thing also happens when I connect it to two other PC's. Any suggstions what could be wrong?

sometimes alot of printers can hang .. instead of restarting the PC switch your printer off and leave for a few seconds and then switch back on ... I have this problem sometimes when im sending jobs, cancelling and feeding paper ... after restarting the printer it auto-detects jobs from afresh .. if this doesnt work then i would be inclined to contact HP support if under warranty asit may be damaged heads.
