I am a beginner... I need to know if this is a good enough website for a beginner...
Let me know, answer the poll above, and please don't just say 'no' just to make me feel bad.
Thanks

The page transition effects were cool. Simple yet efficient design. I think you already posted a poll about this website already so why the need for two?

well it gets the content accross that is the important part of your site. I see many church sites just dont get the content out. Lol when you are moving in to a new area and you need to find a new church and none of them have any content it can be ruff. You find all these non denominational churches and you cannot figure out what the believe!

That was a good point. I think The web site content could use a more direct approach to their doctrine. The philosophy info works ok for a front page teaser, but if I was going to visit nevada and look for a church to visit on sunday, i'd want a more direct statement of faith. Only because I've gone to churches who love Jesus, only to get there and find out that to them Jesus was one of ten manifestations of god
I was able to get an idea of the belief system based on the pastors bio and seminary attended, but it took me a while to think to go there. Even some links to other ministries or authors or missions supported might generate more visitor traffic for you, just so people have some referance point of who your close to being on the same page with.
You might also have a photo of the church for recognition purposes. And consider putting meta keywords and description in the source for search purposes.
Also the blue on the other pages is better that the blue on the main, but i'd probably go with something more corporate.
