On my page i have an iframe

i'd like to access a function that's on the main page from within the iframe

if this cannot be done i can remove the contents from the file the iframe accesses and paste them into the main page and it won't change anything with my layout but its less messy the way i have it now

well...it might actually be better with the iframe's contents in the table cell on the main page...that's for another post though :P:P

incase you were wondering, i'm scripting a drop-down (more like a drop-over) menu for my website and the list of links is in an iframe...i quickly learned that i could not have my <div> based menu in the iframe because it would be positioned in the iframe but i need it to overlap everything, including other iframes not just make it so i can scroll over the links iframe which shouldn't really have a scrollbar anyway

my site is www14.brinkster.com/drakej but don't be surprised if the link drop-over menus aren't working for a couple days...i'm going to be busy for the next couple days with visiting relatives and my school district has to make up a day because of snow so i have to go to school on monday! what a "bummer"!
