I'm making a business site and need some quick help.

The problem is in Internet Explorer only,
persnoally Idc but the owner does.

See I used .png images for the text cause I couldn't get that font,
and the images all have a grey background.

Anyone know how to fix?

Microsoft is too stupid ti understand the transparent parts of PNG.

1) Use a grey backgound.

2) Use a solid color background and edit the images.

3) Save the images as GIF.

1) They want that wallpaper background

2) That would cause the same problem

3) Then the text image would have a white outline

Then the text image would have a white outlineGIF's support transparancy, methinks. Or was it JPG? I gave up some time ago and just started using solid backgrounds that match the page. But you get the idea just use some other format that works on poor old incompetent MSIE.

GIF supports transparency, not JPG.

GIF won't work in this way though,
I'll just have to give all the images a matching color background...

Because if you put black text in a transparent GIF image it shows up with a blotchy white outline.

Because if you put black text in a transparent GIF image it shows up with a blotchy white outline. Not if you've done it right.
