Right I am seriously confused.

I ahve been using Dreamweaver MX for 6 months or so now in code veiw to do my sites and then I have just latly upgraded to Dreamweaver 8 problem is whenever I upload using Dreamweaver 8 I lose my images but them If I go bak in Dreamweaver MX and upload the same loacal file I get my images back.

The HTML/XHTML code is the same both ways so I really dont understand this as it is the HTML/XHTML that the browser reads when rendering the page.

I hope someone can explain this for me as I am absolutlly baffled.

I'm guessing you have the manage site options the same from mx to 8... If not that could be part of the issue.

When you view the live on teh site source code is it the same? It may look the same in DW but what does it look like on the site itself?

Then how about posting said code for the same image here... if not how about a link to the site.

Will Absolute links help to make the images show?

Right I have figured out why it is doing it now.

I use Dreamweaver template files and it is when I modify anything in the template file cos when you save the template in Dreamweaver 8 it adds template/ before the rest of my image locations.

I just need to try and find an option to make it not add the template prefix to my image src.

Or I am going to have to make another images folder but in the templates folder this time and move just the template images into that folder. :rolleyes:
