Launch an exe

Does anyone know how to launch an exe from a hyperlink? I don't want the "save file or launch" window to come up. I just want the exe to launch. Any help is appreciated.

Nope. That would be a serious security issue since you could mask the status bar with a different filename, and then the user wouldn't know it's an EXE at all that whey were launching. If this were possible, I can't imagine how easy it would be for viruses, etc. to be distributed (not to imply that's what you're planning or anything). Personally, I think the Mozilla browser has taken a step in the right direction by not even giving you the option of running an EXE without saving it first.
