Very interested to hear if there is anyone is a payment gateway reseller.
I'm thinking about the reseller thing at http://e-path.com.au but don't want to rush into it without checking if its OK.
Has anyone done this? and what if I am only a small business? Any advice from anyone would be much apprecaited.
Thanks

To tell you the truth, I'm a little confused  . On their home page they are basically saying that payment gateways are bad and don't offer you the same controls as their "manual online credit card payment gateway." I'm particularly confused by the "manual online" reference. This might simply be a language barrier but normally in the payment industry, "manual" is associated with "manually keying card information" and/or "manually processing offline transactions."
A second and scary area that concerns me is that they make it a point to instill the fear of God in you relative to existing payment gateway users and security, specifically PCI and CISP "INDUSTRY NEWS ALERT (FOR EXISTING PAYMENT GATEWAY USERS)". The scary part to me is that the wording of the "alert" seems to imply that their gateway is not subject to CISP. Also, if you go to the VISA links that they include, E-Path is not on either the List of CISP-compliant service providers (http://usa.visa.com/download/business/accepting_visa/ops_risk_management/cisp_List_of_CISP_Compliant_Service_Providers.pdf) or the CISP-Validated Payment Applications (http://usa.visa.com/download/business/accepting_visa/ops_risk_management/cisp_Validated_Payment_Applications.pdf).
They may be a good gateway and they may be secure and cheap. I have no way of knowing, as I have never heard of them until this thread. I would wait until I see them on one or both VISA CISP certified lists though. As their fear of God warning states, the merchant is liable if something goes awry.
