Hi Guys,
I want to drop a small background image in a table, however I have tried many tutorials but none of them have the desired effect. I want the image plum in the centre of the table so it can be faded and have text over it. Could you at least point me in the right direction, or even better the source code and "where to place that code" in the code below. Cheers J

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title>My Site</title>
</head>

<body>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<table width="560" height="179" border="1">
<tr>
<td><div align="center"></div></td>
</tr>
</table>
<p align="center">&nbsp;</p>
</body>
</html>

<table width="560" height="179" border="1"
style="background-image: url(image.jpg);background-position: 50% 50%;background-repeat: no-repeat">

And you can move all the style stuff into a <style> block in your <head> section or even into an external stylesheet. Visit the CSS forum here for more info.
