Hi,

Today i started making pages for a site that i am creating, using Dreamweaver MX. I am using a free template from oswd.org, when i preview it in IE it looks fine, but when i preview it in firefox the layout dissapears.

Here is the link: www.edexcelbiology.co.uk/Contact.htm

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm afraid that if you want pages to actually work then you'll need to stop using Dreamweaver.

Well that's not entirely true. Building the pages yourself (regardless of which editor you use to build them) is a far more significant factor. As far as I know, Dreamweaver is pointless, but that's not to say you shouldn't use it.

The core cause to your page not working though, EdBio, is that Dreamweaver comes loaded with pretty badly built templates. There's also a lot of "Web Developers" out there that frankly haven't got a clue what they're doing and release lots of templates of an extremely low quality. When you put the two together, it's just a recipie for disaster.

Your css is linking to the file on your PC. Validate and fix your html errors, too.
