Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Why are my p tags doing this!?

Hi Everyone,

I have a website (http://www.frieber.com) for which the default target page is my blog (http://www.frieber.com/journal). I have formatted my blog in such a way that the date and time of my post falls underneath the content of each post in it's own "paragraph", aka surrounded by p tags.

But for some reason, If I place a link in a post and that link ends up being right above the date and time paragraph, the link will not function - when it's rolled over with a mouse, the cursor does not recognize it as a link, and therefore cannot be clicked.

So at first, I thought my date and time paragraph may have aligned itself a little higher up on the page than it should have been, and it was blocking all the links above it. So to see where it was I assigned the paragraph to have a border, but the border surrounds the date and time properly.

I can NOT figure out what is wrong and why this is happening.

I use Mac OSX, and I've tried Safari, Firefox and Opera and the problem arises in all 3 browsers.

I really appreciate any and all help!

Thanks,
Dan Frieber

Sounds like a classic invalid mark-up problem. Correct the errors on that page and see if it doesn't help. http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fart.rutgers.edu%2F~frieber%2Fjournal%2F
