To the prospective,
I hope the moderators dont mind me posting these messages, if so apologies.
I am looking for a like minded ocmputer enthusiast who has not yet got a complete grasp within the industry, but is definitely looking to work towards that and take a path with me over the forseeable future.
I am a 20 year old male in the Scotland region, i have been working with computers solidly for 2 years now and have gained knowledge in a few fields, mainly wysiwyg software such as photoshop, flash, frontpage, and office apps. Last year i sat and comfortably passed a first year course at Perth college, this year i will be proceeding onto the 2nd year course come September and then hopefully a nearby University to finalise the deal.
At present I am looking for someone to partner up with and share thoughts, network and collaborate in web design, software development, database management etc etc.
The sylabbus for next years course includes things like SQL and network support. For now i know nothing in these aspects. Last year we learned the basics of software development in Visual Basic 6.0 and this year will be progressing to an advanced level.
Alot of my knowledge has come from online tutorials and articles, also learning from other people as you go.
So my call to you is for someone to partner up with me via, microphone sessions, and instant messaging to discuss ideas, and work on projects together. Someone who is business minded and likes to work to a schedule and get things done. I would share the knowledge i have in whatever field and hopefully would get the same back.
Looking to boost a folio of work by doing pro bono to start and if the calling comes work to a budget.
I have had a series of unreliable people in online "partnerships" due to work commitments elsewhere and circumstances on their behalf. This i why i need someone reliable and feel the web developer forum maybe the place for it.
