It's validated XHTML, but the transparent containers keep it from being validated CSS.
I've been thinking of taking down the guestbook, as there are too many canadian pharmacy-posters putting up links to themselves.
Thanks.

Well, since I rec'd no reviews, I'm going to just assume the site is perfect and everything has gone according to plan, thus keeping my hyperinflated ego intact.
I realize I'm a newbie to the boards, but I would really like some comments, please. I'm not trying to get you to listen to the music, just some simple words like "Go. Suck. Yourself." or "Web site, um ... yeah, it sure is" about the site'll do it for me.
All comments are appreciated.

I like the site. Clean look to it. Only a few things I would suggest. You might want to consider alternate features for Firefox as opposed to IE.
In Firefox the alt text for images doesnt appear on the screen. So I would use titles.
Also, filters are for IE only.
And lastly I would add titles to your links page so your users get a description about what the link is. Titles are also important as far as accessability goes.

ScottR,
Being the completist that I am, I took your advice and added the title tags to all the site links.
I'm not sure what you mean about filters only for IE, though. I tried Googling filters for IE, but didn't come up with anything useful. I only am using filters in making the middle containers 90% transparent, and I am also making sure it shows up (the page transparency) that way in Firefox.
From my CSS:
filter:alpha(opacity=90);
opacity: 0.9;
-moz-opacity:0.9;
I'm not too fond of the green "grass" graphic. It's a little too bright and distracts my attempt to read the content area.
Overall, the design is OK. It seems too busy, and not a cohesive effort, as if there are several elements but not really complimenting the whole. I'd work on creating a solid color scheme (one based not only on the graphics you've created, but also the photos you're using). Also, I'd lay off the usage of texture: between the texture used in the text and that in the photos, it creates a jagged look.
Pet Peeve: Don't use decorative punctuation in your page's title. It screws up search results.
