What do you think of the look? Anything that doesn't go?

You might want to slide the "folio" logo/text down into the red background, that might look nice. Also, you might consider matching the red's in the logo and bg a little closer, they seem to be of different hues, not just different luminosity. Maybe its juts my bad eyes :)

I did match the colors up a little more, in the logo, and the site, and I think that made it look better.

What is the site function?
Basically It is a online portfolio that people can sign up for, and then build their own portfolio. They then show it off to whom ever they want to see it, mostly for employers to look at and what not.

Users can sign up as any of the following:
- Employee
- Employer
- Freelance
Any other types I should add in there?

If they sign up as an employee, they can post links to past projects they have had, using text links and/or image links explain their experience, and number of years experienced in what ever it is. They also can post their resume online too.

If they sign up as a freelance, basically it is the same as above, only there freelance.

If they sign up as an Employer, they can post positions they are looking for, and trying to fill along with any extra info such as number of years experience required for the position. They can also describe what there company is, and what it does.
