This originally started out as a first attempt at pixel art, but haulted and drifted off after the 2 cubes.

What do you think?

It's very nice and much better than I could do (short of using a bunch of very time-consuming complex calculations - atan, vectors, etc.). I'd rate it no lower than 4-stars with 5 stars as the most likely.

thankyou very much ulillillia, that post is very much appreciated. Glad you think it is good work and given the complex calculations that could be involved in such a thing is even more pleasing as i somehow seemed to have blagged it.

i used flash for this, just vectors and thick lines.

i too am also a novice, maybe just a little bit further than where you are at just now.

if you are interested in learning animation.... flash is a good starting point, so maybe get the trial version and try the website/forum

you should also learn the fundamentals behind html and css, for good practice to start.

im not really the one to give advice on this but the way i started was getting tutorials and working them through and finding out what everything in your software does. like the toolbars and things.

just try google for various tutorials, and stick here...it seems to be a good place.

The Flash graphic editor is basically a drawing program. A very good free drawing program is Inkscape.
