Does anyone do thier web development in the Linux environment?
If so, what programs do you use for code editing, FTP, etc?

If you'd rather work in a more traditional programmer's editor mode then I'd recommend you look at jEdit and its many plugins and extensions. drhowarddrfine 07-18-2006, 08:15 PM I don't use Linux but do use FreeBSD. I think you can still find nEdit. jedit is good. And another with a crazy name but I forgot it right now. But it's like all coding I do, notepad and Firefox and I'm happy. lightnb 07-26-2006, 04:55 PM I'm trying both Bluefish amd Quanta Plus. Neither seem to have any FTP functionality like dreamweaver does though. What Do I have to do to see a list of files on my server, and pull them down into my editor? ray326 07-27-2006, 12:27 AM http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdewebdev/quanta/quanta-projects-3-2.html webdeveloper.com
