I've just installed the stand-alone beta 3 version of IE7 in order to test my sites but have come across a problem. Now it's possible I have a dodgy install but somehow I don't think so. I think the geniuses at Microsoft have done it again.
When I click on a select box to select another option, the pop up blocker kicks in and informs me a pop up has been blocked!!! Why? I even went into the settings and allowed the site I was testing to have 'pop ups' but it still didn't allow it. Perhaps a bug (it is only beta 3!), but I can't believe a bug like this would go unoticed for so long.
So does this mean that this is to be the default behaviour for the pop up blocker? Surely it can't, but it wouldn't surprise me. :mad:
