I'm guessing it's probably a dating agency or something similar that wants the URL, maybe because it's their company name or something? I was expecting a dating site when I saw the URL...

Are you a gambling person? Do you need the money?

The way I see it, you have two choices...

1) Gamble and hold out for more money - although they might just not offer you any more and instead withdraw the offer altogether...
2) Take the money now and regret it later.

Only thing I'd do in your situation is write a list of pro's and con's of selling in two separate columns on a piece of paper - follow whichever side has more items listed!

Hey I remember you!

Glad to see you've stuck with it.

I would really get the domain appraised, it was a really common practice back in the first .com boom and you don't hear much about it these days. Except for people that own old domains and can help new site from being sandboxed by google.

read this article http://asia.internet.com/news/article.php/885981

I've updated the link mentioned in the article below.

I would then base the count price based on the appraisal and a mixture of what you think the buyer is able to pay. It may be that your site is really worth 100,000,000 and your getting rolled by this offer. I don't know since I'm not in the appraisal business.

In either case we can't talk about hard numbers as that would be price fixing, I would guess and in the end it's up to you if you sell the site for a fraction of the appraisal price or take the offer you have on the table.
