Site map help please

He all. ;)
Ok Here is the problem i am having.
I have had 2 site maps done for me and i wouild really like to use them but when i try to reg the sitemap with goolge it keeps coming back with errors,
I have been told to use xml but idealy i would like to convert the 2 i have to xml, i have tryed to do this but to no avail as im pretty new to this , :(
any help would be gratefull ,or if someone has a little time i would be very gratefull if they could change them to xml for, I know its a long shot but i really would be gratefull of this.

I use Gsite crawler....install, crawl your site, automatically creates xml file for upload and I don't get errors when uploading to google sitemaps.
