Rianna 07-22-2006, 03:03 AM Hi, does anyone know this, the view Internet Explorer default text size? It looks like it might be medium but I am not sure because I am getting bigger fonts on some pages. Thank you! toicontien 07-22-2006, 02:53 PM It is medium, but Internet Explorer (up to version 6) only allows you to resize text via "View" > "Text Size" if the font size is in em, %, or a relative font size. If you specify font sizes in any other unit of measure, IE-Win won't let you resize the text. This annoying behavior is fixed in version 7 of IE. Rianna 07-22-2006, 10:01 PM Thanks, so your saying that IE version 7 resizes text in pixels too? Is version 7 ready to be downloaded? Ri toicontien 07-23-2006, 12:49 PM Yes. IE7 not only allows the user to increase the default text size, it also can zoom in on the page. Arty Effem 08-22-2006, 09:24 AM Yes. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for mouse gestures in I.E.? Now that's what I call accessibility. webdeveloper.com
