Hi All!

I have put together my first website which is http://www.uk-carp-forum.co.uk
I enjoyed the dev work involved but I have got a bit stuck on the design of the site. I seem to get in a muddle with objects shifting all over the page and I am not that creative graphically so struggling a bit.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a simple easy on the eye website that I could get some ideas from?

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Paul

Visit the Open Source site: http://www.oswd.org/.
They have many web templates there for free.

Not a bad looking site. Your problems may stem from lacking an <html> tag and proper DOCTYPE, as well as many errors (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.carpingaround.co.uk%2Fforum.asp) in your coding.
