CSS is the 'new way' to do it, however his site still is correctly displayed in both IE and FF so who cares?

Spletne, I have no idea what you're trying to tell me, but the site looks very professional ;)

I like the rollover effect on the links on the left hand side (with the green background). Only concern I have is that the text is faded out on rollover, particularly the links containing more text, so making it difficult to read.
Other than that minor niggle, the site looks good! Well done :)

Thank you very much AnotherDesigner, for you're commendation ... It realy means a lott to me. I'll think of something about those buttons (fading out) ... I was warn about that in other forum too.

How did you achieve the overlay effect?

Very polished look, I really like how the page touches the screen again almost at the bottom and then lifts off again... Has a nice visual effect. Nice use of white. Again really polished, you must be proud of it.

Nice design.

But there isn't enough contrast between some of the links and the background.

It's the curse of every website designer, including me.
