My hosts (who i am really starting to hate) have their web server set up so either the to or from e-mail address has to include my domain (@louderthansatan,co.uk). I have set this in the from field using the mail() function. The problem I have is it keeps rejecting the recipient if it's not an @louderthansatan.co.uk e-mail address. I've emailed them numerous times and now they are telling me to ensure the sendmail_from setting is correct. Can this be set somewhere other than php.ini as I don't have access to the php.ini file!
Hmm... yes, this sounds like a problem on your hosts end. To change the sendmail_from, you need access to the php.ini, but it would seem like it should be able to send mail to other domains eitherway...
