Hi there,

Can I have some constructive criticism about my Website Hosting and Development (http://www.website-hosting-development.com) website.

Cheers, Marin

Nice banner, nice layout, and generally fits together well... The site looks professional, and the design means it could easily just be 'another' web design company - perhaps a more prominent 'tagline' in/under your banner would be appropriate?

The other thing I prefer to see is text links, rather than image links... If I disable images, how am I going to be able to navigate your site?
Not only that... but I'm only using a 56k connection, and I'm impatient. I like to be able to quickly scan the page for the link I'm looking for and click it - often before the page is fully loaded... If I can't see the link (because it's hidden somehow, or because I have to wait for an image to load), I often 'back out' of the site, and go looking somewhere else...

First off, the overall visual impression is nice, but (of course there's a "but")...

Text size is too small. Not all of us are viewing it on a 20" monitor with 20/20 vision. I would also like to see more contrast between the text color and the background.

You might want to specify no-repeat for the logo background image. When I jacked up the browser text size a couple notches, the white text under the logo caused the header div to increase in height, and so the logo image repeated, and then the white text was overlaid above the white logo text, making the expected unreadable mess.

Other than that, it looks quite good to me.

To be honest it looks corporate like an IBM review, the type that doesnt want to make me dance in the rain. Speaking from a customer or visitor aspect it doesnt say to me "whow truely arse spanking design, hire this person now whatever the cost!" or "whow this person makes a tutorial so interesting"

Actually look at this thread and the site being reviewed (http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114875). Im posting that thread because its a good design, interesting and still clear and professional. Even if feathers and kiwi's dont have anything to do with you business or free online tutorials nuetral images help out. Your in to webhosting and development so show me some flair, show me as many skills without the website overpowering me. No design is perfect but please give a bit more, im not flaming, just trying to give honest and constructive feedback.

From a user point of view, -- decent website.

The technical details such as the font size and its color on each of the pages needs to be "re-viewed".
The images that make up the main menu on the page, tends to distort in my FF (in RH 9 Linux).
Also, the images on the left (white boxes), have a curve, that appears to be incomplete i.e. not a smooth one.

Look good. I would take the underlining off the links to the left, and there's a lot of information on the main page. Perhaps spread that out over a few pages?

Also, I agree that the font needs to be a bit larger

Ugh - the text is too cutesy. It provides absolutely no direction and/or information for the viewer. Remember, a website should be like a simply written reference book, not a campy infomercial.

Good Luck-
