Hey everyone, its me again.

Once again I need someonme to take the background off of these buttons for me, Unless someone can give me a very detailed description of how to do it. All i have to work with is PhotoImpression and Paint. I'm only thirteen and cant come up with the money for a good graphic arts program, so if any on knows of any free ones...

There is a very good graphic art program called Gimp it is free and a very good program.
it takes a little while to learn but it will do all you wish and more.
Go to www.gimp.org you will need to download gtk+ and gimp for windows.
It will take you to sourceforge.net for the down load.
It is very comparable to photoshop and works quite well.
Once you get used to layers and masks you will be able to do what you want.
There is also very good online doccumentation of gimp.
Good luck

http://www.buttontool.com/

If your not in to graphic editing then try this program. Its rather basic but easy to use, creates uniformed buttons and exports it all for you. Give the trial a go, nothing more simpler

The regulars here are good at a variety of things, but you will find that few are willing to outright do work for you. Generally speaking, we are much more in favor of teaching people how to do things for themselves.
As for your buttons, there isn't really an "easy" way to remove the background. You'll need to open your graphics program of choice, load up an eraser tool, zoom in on the image and manually delete the background around the letters.
Depending on the program you use, and "specific color eraser" or "magic eraser" could speed up the process somewhat, but even then I can't imagine the finished products looking good, given the images you are starting with.

I think in the end, you'll be much further ahead using something like wh666's ButtonTool and starting from scratch.

And if you think Gimp was too complicated, I wouldn't hold your breath for Photoshop... it's every bit as complicated and costs a whole lot more. With either one, most people can pick up the basics quickly, but they can take years to truly master.

You could also start from scratch at www.buttonator.com. Nothing to download except your finished buttons.

I found photoshop to daunting; don't have time to learn to use complicated programmes.
When you've saved up get PhotoImpact. Helluva lot cheaper than Photoshop and a doddle to use. You can download a trial free.
