I need some help. I've just launched my new website and it works perfectly fine in Firefox. For some reason, however, when I try to load the page in Internet Explorer windows comes up with a message saying that "Internet Explorer experienced an error and has to close", it also requests sending an error request. My website is www.sabrinajalees.com. I'm expecting quite a few hits in the next little while, so I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks so much!

Remove the xml directive. The server is sending the page as text/html.

Sorry... this may sound stupid... but how exactly do I do that and will it affect the way the page works?
Thanks!

How did you create your page in the first place? Do you have access to the code?
There's more to the problem than the xml declaration. Perhaps the onload script in the body? It's weird that it crashes my IE, also.

That doesn't help at all. We can get that from your link. What I meant was, you asked how to change the page like ray said. I wondered how you created the pages code in the first place that you didn't know how to change what was there now. You need to remove the very first line to fix the one IE bug problem but I'm wondering if the crashing is being caused by the javascript. I'm going on vacation in the morning so I don't have time to look into this.

hey,
I didn't develop the site... it was a friend. This friend is away for the next couple weeks and unfortunately i'm expecting a bunch of hits in the next month or so. I removed the first line and it's still crashing. Any ideas on what to try next?
Thanks!

Well here's Tidy's complaints. I'm suspecting the wierdness in the img tags but that's just a guess.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all your help. I've been playing around with a JS debugger with no luck. I've decided to zip up the main HTML file and the accompanying JavaScript. Hopefully someone can figure out the problem in these two files. I really appreciate all the help! I've zipped them into a file: www.sabrinajalees.com/Desktop.zip
Thanks!

We can already see the HTML and Javascript from the link that you gave, seriously, clean up the 14 errors that Ray highlighted above.

I looked that thislast night, -you're right... it DOES crash IE! :(
I support the contention that it is possibly all the "<area> proprietary attribute "onload" " errors. Not that "onload" isn't working on other browsers, -it seems to work on Fx, but for some reason it hates IE. I'm alittle afraid to view the code again and cause my computer browser to shut-down (I viewed with Firefox using the IE Trident-engine so as to display as IE would, and it encountered a critical error (probably several) and had -...to shut down'. -Hate it when that happens.
