New company site

Hi,

We've uploaded out new company site and would really appreciate some feedback. e-Smartz (http://www.e-smartz.com) It's a flash site, and we've done that because we see it as a brochure site for our products, services and example apps. We think most people'll view our site through word of mouth or because we've asked them to have a look so we aren't too worried about SEO.

Anyway - blurb over - if you wouldn't mind taking the time we'd be grateful.

Nice thought, but you're cutting out potentially 99% of the WWW users... not advisable for a business. You can guarantee that your rivals will have invested in SEO - so your customers could quite easily find themselves on their site, instead of yours.

Personally, I think the page would look better centred. It doesn't look 'right' stuck in the top left hand corner of the browser window...

I'm not much for the blurred effect on some of the links... I say some, because not all of the links have the same blurring for some reason. Maybe they could become clearer on roll over? Also, the text links that turn orange blend into the lighter blue/green background colour (I know it sounds weird, but it does).

It's the tiny details that finish a site off... you're nearly there IMO.

You really should have a non-flash version of the site. There are more users without flash than you would expect.

Also, it looks like you have designed your site for a small screen resolution. My screen is set at 1024x768 (which is not that large by today's standards) and your background does not fill up my page. AnotherDesigner has already picked up on this.

Overall very good, although I think the interface should be a little bolder.
