I have designed a form for use on our company website. Once I had it built, I phoned our ISP asking them for the location of the standard FormMailer script that I have seen in other ISP servers. Their reply was that they dont allow scripts to be run on their servers.
I am sure that they are lying and if I were to use their own Web design company, the form would magically work.
I have no knowledge of ASP or any other scripting language, but have been able to use the same method at another website a few years ago, so I know it works.
My question is:
is there another way that I can send the data contained in the form. I tried doing a simple mailto: command, but it fires up the e-mail client and I don't want that to happen.
I was hoping for a client-side script of some sort. I would also like to arrange the sent data in a Word document at its destination, but I imagine that will have to be done with macros or something, unless anyone can tell me different.
Thanks
