- I would lose the frames altogether. They are a headache, and generally used in the wrong fashion.

- Ask around or speak with a true graphic designer, the photo up top is nice but the basic text on top of it makes it look very dull. The same with the navigation buttons on the left.

- The links on the left side are also very small.

- Look into using some CSS to spruce up the sites content as well as hyperlinks and page text.

- White text on photo backgrounds, such as looking at some product pages, is exceptionally hard to see. Again, speak with a graphic artist to fix this.

- The top header would look alot better if you remove all padding and margin from the <body> tag, as then the image would fit flush in there.

- Wherever you have the info@q-optical.com link, make that an email link. <a href="mailto: info@q-optical.com"></a>

Some of those things should start it off on a better path. I'm viewing it at 1280x1024 and still seeing scrollbars, that's kind of annoying. You seem to have some very good photos in there, if you talked with a pro graphic designer I'm sure you could really this page to life.

Cheers,
Brett

There is too much texural contrast between the banner's background and the text. You need to fade the background (with your image editor) so the organization's name is more prominent.

The ALL CAPS navigation doesn't follow "web etiquette" -- web etiquette rules are similar to that of email (they're both communication tools): ALL CAPS is like you're screaming at the visitor.

Lastly, I'm not sure how, but your layout is too wide for my widescreen laptop. I've got a horizontal scrollbar. May need to check into that.

You may want to visit this site to find out the proper way to code a frame, which accommodates those who may have browser settings that prevent them from loading correctly.

Good Luck -
