My website uses SSI throughout and hence all pages have the .shtml extension, including my index page. When typing in the URL to my website (www.organ-concerts.com), my server directs the browser to index.shtml.
I recently submitted my site to Yahoo as http:www.organ-concerts.com. When I do a search on yahoo, the site comes up, but with the following address: www.organ-concerts/index.html. Since my page has a .shtml extension instead of the .html extension the URL Not Found error message comes up when someone clicks on the link in Yahoo. Any suggestions on why yahoo has indexed the site this way and how I can fix it?
