When learning new web-related things I always gravitated towards the video tutorials. I figured I'd help out the next person like me and create some tutorials for them. My goal is to create a friendly place where people can find video tutorials for pretty much anything web-related. First, I would love some constructive feedback on the site I created so far. Secondly, I was wondering if anyone with a good heart might want to help me produce tutorials? I'm starting with the basics, but hope to get more advanced as time goes on. I'm not charging for these tutorials because, well, I want to provide a free service, but it's pretty fun creating these. If you're interested in helping out, write me using the contact form on my website, www.firsttutorials.com

This would probably get more feedback if it were moved to the Website Reviews forum.

Nice idea to setup a tutorial site... but a couple of points worth considering:

How will your site be different to the hundreds out there?
Will you provide text-based tutorials too - I'm on a slow connection, far too slow for video streaming.

If you are to make your site successful, you need to make sure it stands out from ALL of the others... Make sure you get publicity on forums like these (not blatant advertising... stick a link in your signature which is displayed whenever you help people)... Build up kudos on forums, and people are more likely to pay attention to what you have to say...
Also - your target audience. Are they absolute beginners who don't have a clue? Or are they people who have an idea about HTML, but want to learn side-scripting etc?

All these points you need to take into consideration.
And for the record: I don't like video tutorials. I'm more of a text and pictures man myself... I just realised how dodgy that sounds, but I hope you get the (clean) idea!

The site has a nice slick look as well but you have no hover state for any of the links. That's kind of an industry standard.
