Just submit to google. Yahoo will pick it up.

Hey,

Just go to the bottom of the yahoo page and click the

"how to suggest a site"

link! I have set up many sites this way and it is free!

Go to www.dmoz.org, they feed to google aol msn comit and a lot of other engines they are the open directory project and if you add your site to them in a few months dont be supprised to find yourself on more engines. Thats what happened to me.

Hey Zone...

Should be. Some of the search engines are automated, while others are user entered and configured directories (like Yahoo). If you fill out the form and enter the information the people at Yahoo will go over it and register it, usually within a month or so.

Directory MOZilla (DMOZ) will normally only add your site it is passes stringent criteria. I also have DMOZ Editor Status and most engines allow commercial sites.

You work for the open directory project? I applied there a long time ago thinking it could get my site on when I was first starting out lol. Well that was a year ago my sites got themselves on now :). Just to clear this up dmoz has people edit their data base in certain catagorys in exchange for experience. :D
