making nested movie clips load external text

Please help. I am having trouble tryin to get my nested movie clip load external text, so that when the the main timeline stops at a frame that contains a movie clip, I want that movie clip to display text that I have prepared.

I know how to do it in the main timeline, but it's trying to achieve it in the movie clip thats has got me stumpped.
