IE even makes you click on flash and windows media content now to activate the controlls. pacerier 08-08-2006, 10:29 PM in other words there's no way to stop it from appearing? NogDog 08-09-2006, 01:28 AM Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level, then look at the "Active X controls and plug-ins" section. I strongly suggest you do not enable "Download unsigned active X controls", and consider carefully the potential impact of lowering the restrictions on the other options. pacerier 08-09-2006, 05:04 AM sincere thnaks for the help, but i tried to enable it instead of prompt for that section yet when i open a new page which requries javascript remotely, i still got that yellow bar appearing. Sunny G 08-09-2006, 11:27 AM yes i love deprecation and i prefer IE Don't say that!!! NogDog 08-09-2006, 11:36 AM sincere thnaks for the help, but i tried to enable it instead of prompt for that section yet when i open a new page which requries javascript remotely, i still got that yellow bar appearing. Look further down through those security settings for the scripting section (near the bottom of the list) and see how your options are set. webdeveloper.com
