Favicon not staying fav

Hi,

I am having trouble with the favorite ICON that should display in the favorites pane in explorer on the link to my website. (pcmb.net)

I put a nice little favicon.ico file in the root of my site and when I first make a shortcut to the site, the icon appears in my favorites folder.... as it should. I am using IE6 wit SP1. After a while, and I have not noticed it happen, the icon no longer shows in the favorites pane, and I can not get it back.

I have other links in the same branch of the directory and they sill show their icons. So I do not think the problem is with my browser. Can the host get in the way of favicon?

Anyone have an idea how I can keep the favicon from disapearing in the link to my site?

I seem to remember this is a common problem with IE.
Do a search in this forums and you will find lots of threads about favicons, a few covering similar issues.
