What is that in the banner? At first, I thought it was the outline of a woman's bare bottom and thighs; then I thought it was two incredibly large fingers snapping; then, I thought it was the back of a crouching yeti.

You need to go through your coding and clean it up. Several of the sections of the template that you've decided not to use are still in the coding, making the file's size larger.

The layout breaks when displayed on a high resolution screen, meaning that the items are too far apart as they spread to accommodate the larger screen space.
