Help me setup up PHP

i dont have php on my comp. plz tell me where to get it and how to to set it up.

every one says got www.php.net/downloads but that isnt enough plz tell me the exact file and how to set it up so that i can save files with .php extension and can try some commands

Install XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html) and you'll find life much easier than trying to install all the components manually.
