PLEASE HELP - HTML based email question

I am creating an HTML based email in which my client has a lot of text. I was hoping to create a series of collapsable text boxes within this email so that the user would be able to decide what he/she would like to read. Below is an example of what I am attempting to purpose if it is at all possible. By clicking the ...more would open the remainder of the text that is being hidden. Ideally I would like to create this action in HTML because I know that it will work in all browsers. I am also unsure if JavaScript will work in an email. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Javascript is the only way and, yes, it often will not work in email plus many folks set their mail reader to only display text/plain messages.
