Switching frame sources?

I'm *trying* to make a good website and now that I've got some basics up I want to add in the three flash programming tutorials that I've written so far and I was thinking that frames would be the easiest thing to do to make all the tutorials accessible. So for now that's what i'll be doing, so how do I make it so when someone clicks a button the frame source will switch to something else depending on the button?

Also if you believe that doing something like this with frames is a bad idea as I'm coming to believe is true then please post and say what could be an alternative.

1. An iframe with an ID so you can use an onclick handler to change its source. Flash on separate pages.
2. Flash in hidden divs that would be unhidden with an onclick handler.
