In a CSS design, I'm using #568c74. It looks light teal on my screen, but when I viewed the page on the client's screen, it was a yellowish green. I'm guessing that this isn't a web-safe color, even though it was generated by Macromedia Fireworks. (I'm using the color to match a graphic.)

Is there a resource that will find the closest "web safe" color for one you want to use?

"Web Safe Colors" are dead. If the colors don't match then it's the monitors.

Thanks. I tried to explain it to the client, but she kept saying they have "state-of-the-art" monitors, and the problem was mine. It's nice to have another opinion to back that up.

And, yes, JavaKid, I did "Google it." I didn't find anything from a reputable source, thus my question here.
