Whats the best way to choose a domain name that gets alot of hits?

Hi,

I am having trouble deciding on a domain name for my site. My first atempt was to use ovature and type in the largest single keyowrd for my site. the I checked for doamin availablity from the top keyword(s) phrases down and registered the keyword phrase with the most hits that was available. Is this a good idea or is there a better way?

how about using something simple that actually reflects the content of your website instead of trying to trick people to come to it?

sae has the best idea. Remember, it's a bit like brick 'n mortar sites. In the end, it's not so much the address as it is what's available there. (Believe me, I have seen some lousy businesses in places like Palm Beach and Beverly Hills.) If you have what people want, use a domain name that will tell them.
