hi!
Really hope someone can help me.
I am new to web design and i recently launched a website.
The website uses frames.
Problem is that i am exchanging links with other websites and they are asking me for the exact location of the link to them.
The link is under the Links Page within the main frame.
Can someone help!
Thanks.

If they are just asking for the direct link, then it will be the page that has the link listed on it. Say you have three frames - Top, Left, and Right - The right page is the one that has the links on it - right mouse click on the page and select Properties - copy and paste the Address URL into an email. (if they click the link , it will only go to that one page and they will not be able to see the entire site)
If you are wanting them to Point back to Your site, then you will need to give them your full web address so that they view your full site.
Frames will not allow you to direct them to the direct page with all the other frames included - unless the links are on your first and main page.
Hope I did not confuse you

Thanks!
The problem is that the automated link form is asking for the exact URL where the link is - which would be http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/catonsnooker/careers.htm
The automated form then comes back stating that the link must be on the www.snooker-solutions website?
Is there any way around this?

Sorry!
I am using a request link form that basically allows me to swop links with other related websites. This involves pasting code into my site that enables visitors to visit the other site under my Links Section of the site.
The automated form asks me for the location where the backlink is.
As i am using frames the backlink is not found under the website www.snooker-solutions.co.uk- i presume that this is because this is actually the domain name for the site http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/catonsnooker/
in other words the form is asking me for the exact URL that the backlink is on under the www.snooker-solutions website.
When i insert the http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/catonsnooker/link.htm as the exact URL- the message - the backlink must be on the same server as www.snooker-solutions.co.uk comes back to me as an error.
The problem seems to be that the www.snooker-solutions.co.uk is the domain name
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/catonsnooker is the website URL
