Please excuse all "ignorance" from me as I am so completely new at all this it's embarassing LOL
I have made my "website" on photoshop and would like to transfer it over to my website.
Is this ok to do or did I waste my time??
Right now my site just has the parent directory and I would like it so it looks like a web page when you go type in my url
What do I need to do??

There are a couple things you can do at this point. Depending on the amount of graphics you made in PS you might want to slice up the layout (i.e. header/nav/content/footer). Then you would need to use a html editor such as Dreamweaver to use the images as background images in either div tags or tables. Keep in mind the more images you use the longer it will take the site to load, so you may want to use CSS styling to remake part of the layout for fast load and less data load on your server. Goodluck.

Like CWhitlow said, you could slice it up into header, footer and sidebar(s). My website layout was made that way, if you know how to code it then you might make it iframe of table (i recomend iframe). http://www.neoreality.net.tf has a section on website help, with things such as header, footer, coding etc. Hope this helps!
