Hi,

I registered my domain over 72 hours ago with www.123-reg.co.uk and it still says registration still in progress. I tried contacting them by email, but they still haven't responded. It's been 48 hours. I want to change my namservers because I am using dataflame.co.uk as my host, but the option 'Change Nameservers' is not appearing in control panel. Its really frustrating me because i signed up for 1 month hosting and by the time my domain is ready, it looks like that month will have run out.

Can anyone advise me on what I should do? Is there any other way i can get my domain working?

Thanks a lot.

you can also sign in on the website, rather than going into the control panel they provide. there is a domain section there that allows you to change your nameservers.

A domain name can take up to 48 hours to register and propagate through the internet, usually won´t take more than 2/3 hours.

Something seems wrong with your registration.

I registered www.nor-t.com on 123 and that took about 48 hours. registered www.twofreelinks.com through freewebs and that was less than a day. Can't remember where I regsitered my other site but that was less than a day too.

A domain name usually gets activated with-in 24 hours and maximum of 48 hours, you are intimiated for this time period when you purchase the domain.

Incase of failure you should contact your registrar.
