Hey all,

I am farly comfortable working within the Flash environment, but had a question.

I know you can link to external servers, databases, web pages, text documents, movie clips, etc and have them come into your Flash document. My questiion is this:

I have a site that my client wants redone in Flash. Everything they want would work easily in one small, completely self contained SWF except for two things:

1) a couple of MP3's. The client said just throw them in but obviously I don't want them to load if they don't have to. So, can one create a link, within the Flash environment, that would import the MP3 and play it only if the link was clicked?

2) They have a guestbook that clients sign. This is controlled and offered by the host of the site, and to incorporate it into the current html site is just a single line. Is there a way of having this guestbook appear within the Flash file itself when it is viewed (i.e. within the SWF file).

Thanks in advance!

James

Hi james

Ok you can do this:

1) put the mp3 in a movie you export this and when you need to load something you load not the mp3 but the swf file.

2) yes you can made a guessbook with flash but the how is a bit more complicate I need more info and mabe a example of the form. put a link to see the code working.
