my site works ok on local view, but when i publish, then put in domain name i get a error messege You are not authorized to view this page, but if i type in domain.co.uk/default.asp i get file download dialog that activates the dreamweaver icon in the task bar.

It seems your IIS isn't configured correctly.
First thing check if your ISS is running.

Try testing some pages browsing from within your IIS.
