IIS HHTP:401.1 Unauthorized Access

I installed IIS on WINXP, I tried to go to http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 but I got "you are unauthorized to view this page - HTTP 401.1 Logon Failed"
Can you help?

if you go to the iis config mmc, select your website/virtual directory, then directory security, then edit at the top, are anonymous access and integrated windows authentication checked?

this is just a guess but it's possible.
