alright, say i own www.mydomain.com. it points to a server my friend owns and my account there is http://me.friendsserver.com. i have an index.htm file in there that www.mydomain.com points to. now i've bought www.myotherdomain.com and i want it to point to a different file in that main directory; call it mod.htm.
i've domain forwarded www.myotherdomain.com to point at http://me.friendsserver.com/mod.htm, but when i type www.myotherdomain.com into the browser the url bar shows http://me.friendsserver.com/mod.htm instead of www.myotherdomain.com.
is there a way to get www.myotherdomain.com to remain in the url bar? maybe domain forwarding isn't what i'm looking for, or maybe there is something else i need to do to set it up correctly.
